After 9 months of no problems the DVD will not open. I called the 800-243-0000 number that is on the machine…. they don’t service it and sent me to 2 other numbers. Now the best advice is to leave it unplugged for 20 mintues. What the heck is this?
Don’t buy this cheap machine.
Followup: Do NOT buy this product or anything from Insignia. After less than a year I’m throwing this into the trash. It won’t open the DVD! It’s not hot as was the case we thought the first time this happened; it will play the DVD that’s in there but you have to open the machine up to remove the disc. It’s a trash product!
